Story pt.2
Ngā mihi o te rangi ki a koutou te whānau whānui o Te Rautini,
On Sunday I shared my story and the power of our Testimony, I believe that individually each of us has an amazing and powerful story that has the ability- if we allow it to change and influence all people.
I wanted to leave you guys with the 3 parts I spoke about that give power to our Testimony.
The power of the divine
Our Testimony is a prophetic act that has the power to change life circumstances
It was through supernatural intervention that I encountered Jesus, and that very moment meant a change of direction for my life
The power of prayer
God doesn’t need our prayers, we need to pray to remind ourselves of who we are as sons and daughters
One of the most powerful moments I remember is crying, tears flowing from my eyes lying down on the ground and over and over again saying "l love you Jesus, I love you Jesus!" And feeling in that space the weight and tension of disappointment in myself being lifted out of my room and house
The power of Community
Accountability, Action, and the ability to move forward
If it wasn’t for Fraser and Aaron keeping me accountable then I would not have had the courage to go to rehab, get counselling and ask for help. It was through those conversations that I had the ability to move forward.
Nōreira e te whānau,
I want to encourage us if we can, to sit down with people and share in conversation with each other speak hope into each other and love each other.
Ngā manaakitanga,
Ritane
